About The Projects We Support
No scheme is too big or too small for consideration, as long as it is a project promoted by a charity, church, school, college or university.
For example you might need to replace a dilapidated building, update the kitchen facilities, or make it more accessible for wheelchair users. Alternatively you could be a charity offering services to a wider community, or looking to run new events or hire venues. Or you could have ambitious plans to open a new social enterprise centre, or simply want to restore a neglected garden with the support of volunteers.
In 2021 the Charity undertook an extensive consultation to better understand the difference its giving can make to the communities that live and work in South East Dorset. Read more here:

We are particularly interested in hearing from those in organisations who are:
- tackling social exclusion
- promoting mental heath and wellbeing
- addressing environmental and climate challenges through social action
